Eye Q Liquid Vanilla Flavour (200ml)

Getting children to take fatty acids, especially fish oil, can be problematic. Often, the industrial methods used to disguise the fishy taste can damage the delicate fatty acids, and involve using synthetic additives that are not suited for those with dietary sensitivities. When we formulated our two eye q liquid variants, we decided on the most pure and natural route. Firstly, our hi-EPA marine lipid used across the eye q range has been processed to remove much of the fishy taste and odour. We use a turbo-steam deodorisation method in which the oil is placed in a near-absolute vacuum, and washed with steam. This means that the oil is protected during this natural method of washing out any volatiles. You can see more about this in our Equazen Process section, but the important thing is that we end up with a pleasant tasting fish oil. We then marry the fish oil with our virgin EPO, certified free of any chemicals or additives, and a hi-oleic sunflower oil. This stabilises the long chain fatty acids, which if unprotected, have a tendency to oxidise. Perhaps the most crucial stage is the flavouring: or more precisely, making sure we use the right ones.
